Drifting peacefully along, enjoying the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the Lego Man spotted Siesta Beach. Land ho! he cried, and paddled his bulky 8-foot frame ashore. Although perhaps not so animate, the Lego Man knew where the best place to go ashore was: Siesta Beach.
Sarasota’s Siesta Beach is not only world famous (as covered in the previous post), but attracts all sorts of interesting people and things! The Lego Man was discovered by early morning joggers, of which there are many in Sarasota. You see, Sarasota is a relaxing sort of place, but also a very healthy place, where you can combine jogging or cycling with organic supermarkets and an incredible variety of restaurants. It’s also an artsy sort of place with an active outdoor and downtown lifestyle, all of which will be discussed in detail in upcoming posts.
